Herman Miller Aeron Chair With Posturefit Assembly Instructions

In this article, we will show how to put together your Herman Aeron chair with posturefit in just a few easy steps. There are two easy methods to slide the Aeron backrest into place on the seat.

Method 1

Please refer to the picture on top of this article. You will see one screw under the middle of each armrest on the seat. Remove the screws on both sides of the seat. Next, lift the seat up at the side of the backrest. Now, you will be able to slide the backrest into place. Tighten the four screws in the backrest to the frame. You can now put the screws you removed earlier back in place. That is it, your chair is now assembled.

Method 2

There are times when it is difficult to remove the screws seen in the photo above. In order to get the Aeron backrest into place, you will need to slide it in with a slight tilt one side at a time. First, slide in the backrest while holding it slightly tilting to the right. Then push the left side of the backrest into place with a lot of force. That is it, your chair is now assembled.
