Installing A Steelcase Leap Headrest (& Equivalent Chairs)

When you purchase a Steelcase Leap chair with a headrest (as well as similar back style equivalent chairs), you will usually get the headrest ready to be installed on your chair. However, when you buy the chair and the headrest separately, you will need to install the headrest yourself.

Don’t worry. It is pretty easy to install.

First, you will need to drill two small holes into the back of the Steelcase Leap backrest. Please refer to the two images above. You will notice to small holes near the top of the back of the backrest. Then just tighten the two screws of the headrest in the backrest. That is it, your Steelcase Leap headrest is installed and ready for use.
